Up The Garden Bath

Up The Garden Bath is an award winning Community Interest Company in Peterborough. We work with local businesses to reduce waste and landfill. We take unwanted waste materials that would usually end up in landfill such as old bathtubs and upcycle them into educational garden planters and accessories. We strive to use 100% recycled, unwanted materials to ensure a quality finish in a range of wood styles & colours.

Our upcycled bathtub planters are installed into schools, community centres/area’s & residential care homes. We use our upcycled bathtub planters to educate people all about recycling, gardening & sustainability. Since launching in February 2020, we have installed over 70 upcycled bathtub planters across Cambridgeshire & delivered our educational workshops to over 30,000 children of varying ages & learning abilities.

Gardening has been proven to be beneficial to mental and physical wellbeing and we aim to make gardening accessible to everyone regardless of their demographic or physical abilities. We are recycling experts and can turn most things into a garden orientated item. Pretty much anything & everything can play a role in growing plants, you just have to have the ideas, creativity & the imagination.
